Rounded Corners

CSS is great for making boxes with rounded corners, but its a bit tricky to make something adjustable in Animate. The 9Patch object: right click>Insert new object>GENERAL>9-patch, offers a way to do that in a simple way... with just a circle.

When you think about it a box is just a circle when its squished.

After adding the object import, or paste your image of a circle.
The built in image editor has an option for making them, but its not got the best anti aliasing.

After you select the 9-patch object its settings should be something like this:

All the margins should be the same size, and about the size of its radius.

Tip one: you can alter the circle to have square corners
Tip two: If the image is white rgb(255,255,255) you ca use the color filter to set it to any color you like.
